Abstract: Mosquitoes are the major public health problem throughout the world. Among the 3492 species of mosquitoes recorded worldwide, more than a hundred species are capable of transmitting various diseases in human and other vertebrates [1]. Mosquitoes transmit malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, filariasis, Japanese encephalitis and chikungunya to humans.
