Abstract: Multiple emulsion is novel approach of drug delivery system for enhancement of bioavailability and pharmacological activity. It is important to prevent the problem of oral drug delivery system and they are stabilized by using of combination of hydrophilic and lipophilic surfactant. In this project the most critical challenge in oral delivery of ficin is to preserve the formulation during its passage through the stomach without denaturation. The key to success of digestive proteins as pharmaceuticals is to have in place an efficient site-specific pH dependent drug delivery system that allows the protein to gain access to the target site at the right time and for an appropriate duration.
