A Review on Rauwolfia serpentiana (Review Article)

Abstract: Many age-old and highly popular plants are well-studied for their medicinal properties, Rauwolfia Serpentina is one such plant. It belongs to the family Apocynaceae. It is commonly known as Indian snakeroot or devil pepper It is widely used in Ayurveda and homeopathy. Its roots were traditionally used to treat snakebites, fevers, and insect stings. In the present article, Rauwolfia Serpentina’s updated research is documented.
